BC: July Library Haul

Only two books in this library haul – I started an internship this week and that will be taking up a lot of my reading time.

  • a closed and common orbit – Becky Chambers. I can’t discuss the plot of this one without ruining quite an important back of its predecessor but after my 5/5 review for the long way to a small, angry planetthere was no way I was going to wait before moving onto this book. It seems to have great reviews on Goodreads, so I hope I enjoy it even more than I did Chambers’ other novel.
  • Caraval – Stephanie Garber. I enjoyed reading The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern a couple of years back and Caraval seems to have a similar magical circus setting. The novel follows two sisters as they escape from their father and get wound up in a trouble they never could have predicted at the annual circus event. Just over 400 pages so it shouldn’t take me too long to read (provided my internship doesn’t leave me too tired!).

That’s it then, those are the books I have borrowed from my library this month. Do you use your local library? What are you planning on reading this month?

    1. I have! I’m exactly 1/3 of the way through according to Goodreads and I’m enjoying it so far. Nothing too amazing has happened yet but it’s quite entertaining!

Have you read it? What did you think if you have?

      1. As long as you don’t expect a massive original story I think you will enjoy it. I will probably post a review at some point in the future so keep your eyes open if that would interest you 🙂 Thanks for reading
